Reclaim your life from pressure, programming and burnout.

For too long we have been taught to override our bodies, suppress our needs and measure our worth by how much we can carry.
We perform, push through exhaustion and believe the problem must be us.
I believe there is another way.
The courage to question the systems that keep us trapped in over-functioning and undo them.

Why WYLDE WELLBEING?
The term ‘wylde’ is old English for wild and untamed (it was also used to mean uncivilised or undisciplined!!).
I have some lovely memories of picking wild blackberries and elderflower in hedgerows when I was a child, making jam, and helping to bottle home produced honey, as well as getting tipsy from home brewed wine as a teenager! I especially loved ‘Brambly hedge’ and ‘Flower Fairies’ (oh the simplicity of innocence and youth!) and I still feel joy from all things natural and wild – the sun on my face, and anything botanical and floral.
I also like the thought that I’m a Wylde Woman: free and untethered to what is expected of me by others, but to what I choose for myself, and what works for me, for my body, my nervous system and my capacity.
In recent years, I've been redefining what success, leadership and wellbeing looks like for me, after 22 years in public service, I had to let go of my Council CEO role because of my complex and limiting health conditions.
WYLDE WELLBEING MANIFESTO
Wylde is about reclaiming your life from pressure, programming and burnout, and living untamed by expectation.
It is the courage to question the systems and expectations that keep us trapped in force and over-functioning. It is the process of unlearning what we have been told we must be, and returning to what is true.
To live Wylde is not to be chaotic or reckless. It is to live in alignment with your nature rather than operating like a machine.
It means honouring your body, your nervous system and your humanity.
It means building a life that is sustainable across every dimension of wellbeing, represented in my Whole-Wellness™ model.
TOO HARD TO SWALLOW was released in April 2025 and is a self-help memoir about the physical and psychological impact of chronic illness and how I’ve coped, what I’ve learned along the way and how I can help others.
It captures my experiences, moving from illness to wellness and choosing to live well with a long term condition whilst managing symptoms of illness and disability. I can empathise with others as I’ve faced lots of loss, grief, and trauma in my own life too; I’ve experienced birth and death, marriage and divorce, illness and wellness, debt and security, love and loss, and everything in between!
