Burnout Coaching for Women Leaders

Burnout coaching for women leaders, built on why it happens — not just what to do about it

You didn't burn out because you never learned to set boundaries. You burned out because you were carrying more than any human being could reasonably sustain, inside systems that were never built with you in mind.

Boundaries matter. They were never the whole story.

Most burnout coaching for women leaders stops at symptoms: better sleep, fewer meetings, a boundaries script for your calendar. All useful. None of it explains why the same crash keeps arriving on a loop, however well you manage the diary.

This work starts one level down, at the mechanism.

The pattern underneath the pattern

I spent nine years as a public sector Chief Executive before my own body forced me to build a different model — one I now call the Habitual Burnout Cycle: Spark, Ignite, Burn, Extinguish, Rest.

It isn't a personality flaw. It's a cycle, and every stage is legible once you know what you're looking at. What sits underneath it is an equation most leaders have never been shown:

Sustainable Capacity = (Resources + Recovery + Regulation + Support) − (Demands + Stress Load).

When that runs at a deficit for long enough, the cascade that follows isn't a failure of resilience. It's biology. And when you oscillate back to Survive after a crash, that isn't you going backwards — it's the model working exactly as designed, for a nervous system under that much sustained load.

The question was never how women can carry the load more efficiently. It's how the load got this heavy in the first place, and what changes when someone finally names it accurately.

What makes this different

I am a former public sector CEO, an ILM Level 7 executive coach, and I live with chronic illness myself — which means I'm not coaching you toward a version of resilience I've never had to test.

Whole-Wellness™ was a lived reckoning before it was a framework, built across five lenses — Physical, Mental, Emotional, Spiritual, Social & Environmental — because burnout never arrives in one domain alone.

At the heart of it is the distinction that changes everything for the women I work with:

Capability is not the same as capacity.

You have never been questioned on what you're capable of. You are exceptionally capable — that was never the problem. The problem is the gap between what you can do and what you currently have capacity for, and how long you've been closing that gap through sheer will.

Who this is for

Women in leadership — executives, founders, CEOs, senior public sector leaders — who are high-functioning, often burning out, and often performing wellness while unravelling beneath it. You do not need fixing.

What this is not

This isn't a toolkit for pushing through, and it isn't therapy. It's coaching that lives forward, built around one question worth sitting with: what's possible from here?

Where to start

The Wylde Life Audit is a two-minute honest read across all five lenses, with your results sent straight to your inbox.

Or, when you're ready, I'd love to hear from you.

Whole by design. Wylde by nature.
